If you're ready I'll be right here, right back where you belong While you've been out searching, well I think I found what was wrong And I held on so tight that it hurt Don't you tell me you don't think this works If we could see past these blindspots that seem to be holding us back I know we could make it if we would only just to give a chance Because there is so much life that we had Don't you tell me it all has been bad But sometimes you hurt so bad, yeah you hurt so bad that it's all you can think about I swear I gave it all I had, gave it all I had, now I am going insane about it And it can't be just me that sees that we're breaking down by degrees Yeah we're breaking down by degrees Sometimes small mercies, small mercies can make all things right But sometimes you hurt so bad, yeah you hurt so bad that it's all you can think about I swear I gave it all I had, gave it all I had, now I am going insane about it And it's spreading like a disease Drowning out the sound of my pleas But you're all that I want can't you see That we're breaking down by degrees Yeah we're breaking down by degrees Sometimes small mercies could set all things right

So you put on the right clothes and the things they taught you to say Just to dress down your ambitions For a job and some meagerly pay But deep down there inside you Something is starting to scream And you wake up a year later You realize this isn't a dream So you go to the same clubs that you went the weekend before When you get there Yeah they know you Shake your hand as you walk through the door But deep down you are wondering Will I still be here in a year And you hope there's an answer At the end of this No one here seems to know what they want But they know what they're not And they know that there's much more than this Oh tell me there is much more than this Tell me there's much more, much more than this I've been watching this whole thing for so long That I can almost say how it works out Am I wrong? Am I wrong? No one here seems to know what they want But they know what they're not And they know that there's much more than this Oh tell me there is much more than this Tell me there's much more, there has got to be much more than this

God bless the honest man, whoever he is And when you find buy him a drink Because I never met no one who didn't want nothing From coins in his pockets to good thoughts to think The businessman wants his books to be balanced Projections of growth well into next year The worker he wants to be off in an hour Out with his buddies drinking some beer The banker wants some return on his money The swindler wants someone he can take And the doctor he wants to write a prescription For the company that's got some new pills to make The cops want thieves and crooks to be catching Crooks wants cops crooked to look the wrong way A salesman wants someone to sell to and the politician just wants something to say And I've stopped asking why And I don't need an answer As we fight to get by and we work our way through The teacher she wants those kids to love learning The student wants no homework tonight The optimist he want things to get better And the skeptics and cynics just want to be right About the gambler who wants one more round at the table And credit to last him until he has enough The drinker wants one last shot at redemption For her lover to tell her, she'll give her his love The preacher wants converts and souls to be saving The devil needs someone to play in his game Me, I want money, enough for my family And daughters and sons that will carry on my name And I've stopped asking why And I don't need an answer As we fight to get by and we work our way through God bless the honest man, whoever he is And when you find buy him a drink Because I never met no one who didn't want nothing From coins in his pockets to good thoughts to think Hell at least we'd all like some good thoughts to think

Destiny beat down on me Until the day I was set free Endured to fight all alone I've found someone to call my own Every day becomes more clear That I am better when you are near Cynical, although I was I'm getting smarter and it's because Cause loving you is easy now I don't even have to try I don't have to wait on fate or circumstance I've seen this world so cruel and cold Chew you up until you fold Dreams we've had been turned away Destroyed by what someone did say Let's hew the rock to which we've clung And let this be our victory song Cause loving you is easy now I don't even have to try I don't have to wait on fate or circumstance All these times I reached out to touch Hoping all I held inside was true Holding to love without a rescue Don't let the lies be true Cause loving you is easy now I don't even have to try I don't have to wait on fate or circumstance I don't have to wait on fate or circumstance

Until we hug again, I'll say I look forward to the day My heart is heavy knowing that you're gone Even if it was tomorrow, it still would be too long Because I am dying here with out you tonight Until I hear your voice again I'll wait How can there be any kindness in this fate What could ever balance something that's so wrong And what's the difference now that you are gone Because I am dying here without you tonight Let something come from this God, let something come from this How did it ever come to this Let something come from this Until I see your face again I'll stay God grant me some deeper grace for treating me this way My heart is broken what am I do? My thoughts are drowning in memories of you I am going on but how can that be right Because I dying here without you tonight.

Every time is rains it pours, Pennies from heaven They just keep coming more and more, pennies from Heaven They're everywhere stacked on the floor They're even rolling through the door Look there are more than before, these pennies from heaven Every time I sleep at night There is money everywhere in sight I don't know if it's right But I ain't putting up a fight I don't need a butler but I might with these pennies from heaven Pennies are rolling down the street Pennies in the twinkle of the eye, in the shimmer of the smile of the people that I meet Every time I start my day I'm just so grateful don't know what to say It's much more than the bills I pay I got so much I give sums away More keeps coming everyday , Pennies from Heaven These pennies from heaven

about

The majority of this album was recorded over a 48 hour period. It might appear to be a collection of random songs placed in an order. Isn't that life for you, a series of random events that somehow connect and form a picture. Really it's about life, relationships, work, the world, loss and money. I tried to capture the sights, sounds, the smells of a real life rock band. I got that, but I got a whole lot more. But enough of my yacking, sit back and enjoy the album.
